Worship
Celebrating God Together
Worship is a celebration of the Christian faith. It is a time to rededicate ourselves to God as we offer our selves, our souls, and our lives to the LORD through Jesus Christ. Congregational participation is vital to our worship experience at Lebanon Methodist Church. Outstanding music enhances our worship. All ages are welcome at our service.
Worship at Lebanon Methodist Church
We meet in-person each week for worship and Sunday School. Childcare is provided.

Our worship service is a lively, informal, blended service of contemporary and traditional elements. Praise music, led by the Praise Team, and preaching combine to provide practical answers to today’s problems. Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.
CONCERN FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES
Our Church Sanctuary is fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
CHILD CARE DURING WORSHIP
Children are always welcome in worship; however, childcare for infants through 4 years-old is provided during all services.
OTHER WORSHIP SERVICES
Lebanon Methodist Church offers additional worship services throughout the year including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Community Easter Sunrise.
Sunday School
For many, Sunday School is where the journey of gaining knowledge and being formed into the likeness of Christ begins. Lebanon Methodist Church offers classes for children, youth, and adults.
Lebanon offers multiple Sunday morning adult classes at 9:00 am:
- The Fellowship Class meets in Room #201 in the fellowship hall. This class reads a topical book related to the Christian faith and has lively discussions.
The Women’s Bible Class meets in Room #204 in the fellowship hall. This class uses the Women of Faith series as a guide for in depth Bible Study just for women. - The Foundations Class meets in the Chapel. This is a Bible based class, discussing how to apply what we find in the scriptures to our everyday lives.
- The Cokesbury Bible Study class also meets in the Fellowship Hall, taking a thoughtful and deep look at scripture.
In addition, other Bible studies and small group opportunities are offered throughout the year. For more information contact our office at office@lebanonmc.org.

Missions
The goal and purpose of mission at Lebanon Methodist is to be intentional, serving as the hands and feet of Christ to the broken in our midst, outside our doors, and around the world. Lebanon Methodist mission team members emulate Christ and heed Jesus’ words to his followers to be a servant: “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” Mark 10:44. God expects Jesus’ followers to care for others, especially the “least of these.” “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Matthew 25:40
Lebanon Methodist mission team members organize and equip the church’s efforts in supporting mission outreach locally, regionally, and globally. Its purpose is to be the guiding force of the church’s role as a mission-oriented congregation. They coordinate mission efforts, educate and inform the congregation regarding mission, research and recommend mission opportunities, and oversee mission projects, teams, and programs.
The following ministries provide opportunities to be intentional, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus:
- Each week canned goods, nonperishable items, clothes and household goods are collected and distributed through Ashland Christian Emergency Services (ACES).
- Lebanon helps serve at the Liberation Family Services Veteran’s Community Shelter meal on Sundays; annually assembles health and school kits; is in a covenant relationship with the Jubilee Project in East Tennessee; and sends volunteers on a mission trip to Costa Rica each January.
- Each summer the youth ministry hosts LebCamp, a work camp where students who are rising 7th graders and up participate in service projects in the community ranging from animal care, home repairs, and new construction. This is an inter-generational week-long mission project.
