WHAT IS NLI (Next Level Innovations)?

  • A multi-year, 3 phase journey
  • Covering prayer, monthly clergy training, laity training, an Innovations Weekend of church self-discovery, resulting in a plan for the enhancement of our ministries.

WHY?

  • To equip Lebanon with the tools to reach full potential as we fulfill our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

NLI weekend (Nov. 8-10) Follow-Up

 
Following our service, Nov. 10th, we were presented with a challenge meant to help us adapt to the changin community and society as a whole.  We were presented with 4 “Innovations” among other information in a ten page report, which you can find here.

If you have questions that are not answered here, please submit them to nli@lebanonumc.org.  
 

Your thoughts and questions are valuable to the whole church as we prayerfully discern God’s will in this season. 

We are collecting questions and thoughts like yours to be later addressed in our two Townhall events:

  • Wednesday, November 13th at 7 pm in the Sanctuary,
  • Sunday, November 17th at 10 am, in place of Sunday School, also in the Sanctuary. 

 

This will provide the best opportunity for the congregation as a whole to learn/share/understand together.  Please plan to attend one or both of these events, where we will address the questions that we have received.

 

Following the Townhall meetings, our next step will be to either adopt or reject the innovations at a Called Church Conference on Wednesday, December 4th at 7 pm.  (There will be a time for fellowship and dessert beforehand beginning at 6 pm.)  This meeting is open to the whole church, but only official members of Lebanon UMC may vote.
